Step-by-Step Guide to Our Insurance Claim Services
Step 1: Call M.C. Roofing to set-up a free inspection with one of our factory-certified storm damage inspectors.
Step 2: If you have sustained damages, we'll provide you with a written estimate, ask for a signed agreement (so we can work with your insurance company), and then have you start the process by contacting your insurance company to file a claim. Tell them your contractor is M.C. Roofing.
Step 3: Either call us with your adjuster's information or have your adjuster call us directly so we can set up an appointment. It's very important to make sure we're there to represent you during this appointment. Don't allow your adjuster to look at your roof alone even if they say they do not need us or if they'll bring their own contractor.
Step 4: M.C. Roofing and your insurance adjuster will discuss covered damages and come to a verbal agreement.
Step 5: The adjuster will send you paperwork with what damages are covered. Forward any paperwork to us before signing so that we can verify the damages have been fairly evaluated and reported accurately.
Step 6: Sign our project agreement, schedule a start date, and pick your shingle style and color.
Step 7: Deposit first insurance check into your personal checking account (may require endorsement by mortgage company). Then write us a personal or bank check in the amount of the first insurance check.
Step 8: After the work is completed, M.C. Roofing will send all paperwork necessary to your adjuster for them, then release the held deprecation money (may include relevant exclusions).
Step 9: Send us a personal or bank check in the amount of your second insurance check.
Step 10: Enjoy your beautiful new roof! It's as easy as that!
